  • On September 9th 2015, Hanoi School of Public Health (HSPH) has organized the beginning of school year for Public Health Bachelor 14th and Preventive Medicine Bachelor 2nd. After the admission day, 200 new students started a new school year that will mark 4 year of study at the school.
  • On September, the book “FAQ for Hanoi School of Public Health students” has been launched by Department of Student Affairs. This book will give an overview of all the useful information for students who are studying or will study at HSPH.

 

A: Foreword

Dear students,

The book: "FAQ for public health students" has been edited and based on general questions that the Unit often gets to help the students with the useful and necessary information for all of your learning process at the public health university

In this book, we will help you answer these questions, and show you the most basic guidelines of issues related: learning, scientific, research, policies and regulations of the school rules and discipline, commend and reward, union activities.

We hope that the book “FAQ for students of Public Health” would be a close companion of each the public health university’s student.

Every year the “FAQ for students of Public Health” book will be updated and edited and posted on the school’s website: http://www.huph.edu.vn/

Editorial board

 

  • On September 25th 2015, The Youth Union together with Woman Union and the school have organized The Mid-Autumn Festival for the children of school staff members. This is an annual activity which was held by the labor union to bring an exciting night and provide opportunities for children to participate in many activities and understand more about their parents working environment.

Scientific research activities

  • In September, Hanoi School of Public Health was held the acceptance council for 3 projects:
    • "Quality of women workers life in the industrial zones in Vietnam and some factors relate to the working conditions and living conditions" (the project manager Dr. Nguyen Thuy Quynh)
    • "The situation of reproductive health and demand of caring on reproductive health (RH) and construct interference patterns toenhance access to reproductive health services for women migrant workers in industrial zones" (Assoc.Prof. Bui Thi Thu Ha )
    • Job structure and positions of health workforce in Vietnam health system (Dr. Do Mai Hoa)
  • In late September the delegation of student and teachers of the Hanoi School of Public Health attended to the International Conference about Public Health Mekong sub region area.  The delegation included 22 faculty members: staffs, lectures and students attended with 22 reports (12 presentation reports, 9 poster reports) in which two rapporteurs won 3rd for presentation and 1 student got poster presentation award.
