Free health check-up and counselling for veterens

On the morning of July 15, 2017, the Polyclinic of HUPH together with the People's Committee of Duc Thang ward (Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi) organized free health check-up and counselling for 150 veterans and state policy beneficiaries. The event belonged to the series of activities to show gratitude to those rendered service to the nation (veterans, war invalids, martyrs and state policy beneficiaries) to the 70th Vietnam's War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 2017). The veterans and policy beneficiaries received basic health check-up packages, including height and weight measurements (BMI), blood pressure measurements, osteoporosis screening, blood test, abdominal ultrasound, and internal medicine practice. Follow the health check-up results, general doctors and health consultants provided useful information for their health and appropriate diets.

The event contributes to primary health care services for local residents in Duc Thang ward, with a particular focus on the physical and mental health of veterans and policy beneficiaries
