Prof. Hoang Van Minh, MD, PhD - Rector of the HUPH answered an interview with Vietnam Television about vaccination for children. Previously, young people infected with SARS-CoV-2 often did not lead to many severe cases. Therefore, vaccines were preferred for the elderly and those with chronic diseases. But with the emergence and rapid spread of the Delta variant, children are no longer safe.
