1. Reputation for training quality

During the last 20 years of establishment and development, Hanoi University of Public Health has gradually affirmed its position thanks to its prestige of training quality, commitment to closely follow practical needs in the society, supplying qualified human resource to meet the demands of health services, making a contribution to the national development.

2. Professional teaching staff

Currently, HUPH has nearly 160 faculty members, most of whom are holding Master and Doctor Degrees.  Most of them were trained in the world’s leading universities. On the basis of being trained abroad, HUPH lecturers teach their specialities, and they are always willing to accompany students throughout their study duration, doing scientific researches as well as approaching the practical working environment and practice in the field sites. The application of learner – centered method of education and training and active teaching and learning methodology encourages the participation of students. 4. Credit system

The school applies credit training, a flexible form of learning to focus on learners. Students participating in the training program can initiatively build their learning plan, thereby shorten or lengthen the training period in accordance with their own conditions.

5. The student exchange program

Each year, the school successfully organizes student exchange programs between HUPH and the partner schools such as Simon Fraser University (Canada) ... The purpose of this program is to provide students with opportunities to improve their communication and cultural exchange skills, as well as to be exposed to international academic environment.

6. Modern facilities

Located near the city downtown, lecture-rooms and dormitory at HUPH have been well designed for Vietnamese and overseas students to come and study. Lecture-rooms are well equipped with facilities for lectures, study and scientific research like projectors and computers. The school library has thousands of public health books, online electronic resources available for students to use.

 Infrastructure is good and comfortable for lecturers and students to teach and study, thus formulating a dynamic and creative environment for students

7. Attractive scholarship policies

During the course, student-aid programs are diverse such as rewards, academic encouraging scholarships, and scholarships by the Dean and by other units (Samsung, KOVA, Ajinomoto ...) for those students who are poor but study with good results.

8. More than 90% of students have jobs after graduation

In the several-year-on-end survey of the Students’ Affairs Department (Hanoi University of Public Health), over 90% of students have jobs right after graduation. This figure proves that public health students can fully adapt to the environment in agencies and organizations. Moreover, they are appreciated by a lot of recruitment agencies with their working capacity, knowledge during courses drawn through two rounds of field practicum.
