Introduction to the Department of Biostatistics

Department of Biostatistics, Faculty of Fundamental Sciences is teaching Basic Statistics, Data Analysis, Advanced Epidemiology and Biostatistics for under- and post-graduated students. These subjects involve a mixture of lecturers and practical case studies, in order to understanding application of statistical science to analyze public health problems and health research.

The Department also coordinates with Vietnamese and international universities and organizations to perform teaching and research activities. Lecturers take part in research using advanced statistical methods, including survival analysis, missing-data, multilevel analysis, and longitudinal analysis.
