Deparment of Rehabilation

Before 2001, the Department of Rehabilitation was one of the groups of the Department of Occupational Medicine. Since 2001, the Hanoi University of Public Health was officially established to pave the way for the development of the Department of Rehabilitation. 

The mission of the department

1, Create training materials for bachelor students in Rehabilitation Technician.

2, Give community-based rehabilitation lectures to students in Public Health, social work (graduate and post-graduate students)

3, Take part in projects and researches in disability, rehabilitation, and non-communicable diseases.

4, Be a partner of the Ministry of Health in the 3-period project “Health care and rehabilitation for Dioxin victims in Vietnam”

5, Deliver Rehabilitation services at HUPH’s general clinic and develop the Rehabilitation unit, HUPH’s hospital

6, Consult on rehabilitation development strategies for the Ministry of health and other organizations

7, Conduct short courses to meet the need of society in rehabilitation.

8, Continue international and multidisciplinary cooperation to boost the ranking of the department in training and scientific research
