Department of Traditional Medicine

Before 2020, the Faculty of Clinical Medicine consists of four departments: Surgery, Pediatrics, Rehabilitation and Nursing. In 2020, when the University has a need to open and recruit the code of General Medicine, the University's General Clinic will be upgraded to Pham Ngoc Thach General Hospital and the Department of Clinical Medicine will be divided into 9 subjects to serve for training and treatment, the Department of Traditional Medicine was established.

Mission of the Department

• Currently, the Department is participating in the development of the General Doctor's code to start enrolling in the academic year 2021-2022.

• Participating in the development of the traditional medicine course outline for the general practitioner code.

• To develop and implement short-term certification training courses: thread implantation, basic massage, etc.

• Participate in scientific research in the field of Traditional Medicine to improve the quality of teaching and treatment for patients of Traditional Medicine.

• Strengthen international cooperation and multidisciplinary cooperation to enhance the position of the Department.

• Participating in the treatment of Traditional Medicine patients at the University's hospital.
