PERFORM SURGERY FOR VICTIMS OF TOXIC CHEMICALS/DIOXIN

In 2 days from 26th and 27th November 2012, the project of rehabilitation for victims of chemical/dioxin (the Hanoi School of Public Health) organized to bring the doctor team from central hospitals such as Vietnam-Germany Hospital; the National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology, the National Eye Hospital to perform surgery for victims of Agent Orange at the Thai Binh Hospital. After the examination, the team performed 2 operations for 2 motor defect victims, 2 Odonto – Stomatological handicapped victims, 2 optical defect victims. These were difficult cases that the Thai Binh Hospital could not perform operation themselves; therefore, they needed support from doctors in national hospitals. The patients underwent surgery successfully and continued to be monitored and treated by doctors of the Thai Binh Hospital.

This were a good opportunity for the doctors of the Thai Binh Hospital to exchange the speciality with doctors of national hospitals
