1. Education News
- MOET granted Hanoi School of Public Health to continue enrollment of the Master of Hospital Management program. On February 4th 2013, the Ministry of Education and Training sent official dispactch to 07 Universities and Institutes (including Hanoi School of Public Health - HSPH) on allowing to continue enrollment of Master of Hospital Management program from 2013 in HSPH. This is a very timely announcement for School to enrol Master of hospital program, meeting the manpower needs of health sector in all country.
2. Organizational activities News
- Hanoi School of Public Health student was awarded the title of "student with 5 good points" at the central level in the ceremony that held by Vietnam Central Student Association in collaboration with the Vietnamese Student Magazine. She is Bui Thi Hai Anh - K10C Union Branch Secretary, Member of the HSPH Youth Union Executive Committee, Vice Captain of HSPH Student Volunteer Team – one of 140 typical students over the country. In addition, HSPH honored to have two students who were awarded the title of "Student Capital of the New Era" by Hanoi Youth Union and Hanoi Student Association. They are Nguyen Duc Thinh - K9D union Branch Secretary, Member of the HSPH Youth Union Executive Committee, Vice Captain of HSPH Student Volunteer Team and Nguyen Thi Hien - K9D Union Branch Deputy - Secretary, Member of the HSPH Youth Union Executive Committee, Chairman of the Green Community Club.

- HSPH Labor Union launched a donation movement to the poor of two upland districts, Tram Tau (Yen Bai) and Quan Son (Thanh Hoa). It just took 1 week (January 16th – 22th 2013) but attracted the attention and support of numerous staffs and lecturers of School. There were 150 new buoy blankets, 100 new pull shirts, 3 bags of sweatshirt for kids and a lot of second – hand clothes, books, toys.
3. News of international cooperation
- On January 01st 2013, CMB (China Medical Board) delegation visited and worked at HSPH. The delegation had a meeting with the School Leadership and certain key staffs of the School. Representative of the School Leadership and officers in charge reported on the activities funded by CMB, including general development activities of the School, activities of CHILILAB project, activities of project Health professional Education Reform (HER), etc.
4. News of ther activities
- Examination Board - Quality Assurance has independently operated from January 01st 2013.
- Emulation and Reward Board of School had a meeting on January 16st 2013. In the academic year 2011 – 2012, 11 officers and 11 lecturers of the School were classified as excellent.
- Meet retired HSPH staffs on the occasion of new year Quy Ty 2013 on the morning of January 22th 2013. This is an annual regular activities organized by Hanoi School of Public Health to encourage the school retired officials over time. This is one of grateful activities for generations of officials who has contributed and built the School in the past time.
