HSPH YOUTH WITH THE YOUTH MONTH OF 2013
On the occasion of the 82th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26th 1931 – March 26th 2013); in response to the Youth Month of 2013 and especially to celebrate 12 years of the establishment of HSPH, in 3rd January, HSPH’s Youth Union has organized many exciting, practical and meaningful activities; thus has attracted the participation of many staffs, lecturers and students in HSPH. Specific activities as follows:
1. English Olympic Contest for Students
This year, the English Olympiad team consists of 15 member, are carefully selected and sent to participate are carefully selected and sent to participate the qualifying round of the competition took place at the Hanoi National University. End of the competition, many individuals have pretty good achievement. In particular, Nguyen Hai Minh - K9D won the outstanding individual through round 2 – written round and received the certificate of merit from the leader of the Hanoi National University.

2. Award of Hanoi Capital Outstanding Secretary of Youth Union in 2013
In 2013, Nguyen Duc Thinh – Secretary of Youth Union of K9D class - honored to receive the title of Hanoi Capital Outstanding Secretary of Youth Union by Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Hanoi City awarded. This prize is awarded on the occasion of 26th March anniversary each year for the Secretary of Youth Union who has excellence achievement in study and activities.

3. Exciting activities on the occasion of the celebration of 8th and 14th March.
In addition to the activities organized by the HSPH’s Youth Union, the students were more active in the group activities, with the main theme of the celebration on 8th and 14th March.
The extracurricular activities as part of learning to improve their knowledge, while enhancing solidarity and attachment between the members of the class. The activities have helped students not only understand each other better but also stick together.

4. Festival of performances at HSPH
On the ocassion of 27th February, 8th March, 26th March in 2013, the executive committee of the trade union in conjunction with the Youth Union held a successful Cultural Festival. This activity has attracted many staffs, lecturers and students. The preliminary round with 65 items, including 42 items of the students, 23 items of lecturers and staffs. Final round takes place on the evening of 26th March at the outdoor stage has left many good impression of each teacher and student of HSPH.

5. Sports activities to celebrate 26th March
Besides cultural - art activities, sports activities aimed at strengthening solidarity and strength training has been successfully held in Youth Month, January 2013. This year, 26/3 sports tournaments include: male volleyball, tug-of-war and football. These activities attract 100% of students, staffs, lecturers and young teachers in participating.

6. Party development activities
In first quarter 2013, the Party branch of Department of Student’Affair held 02 Party admission ceremony for 12 students, including 05 regular undergraduates and 7 Master students. Currently, the Party branch is continuing to complete 09 records for Party admission in phase 2 of the academic year 2012-2013.

7. Other activities
In addition to the above activities, the Youth Union also actively participate in the activities organized by the Hanoi City, such as the Vietnam Family Day, Program of Hanoi City Union for Youths in 2013 ...
