1. Training Activities:

  • At the beginning of April, Hanoi School of Public Health (HSPH) held the graduation ceremony for:
    • 11 students in Master of Public Health K16
    • 26 students in Master of Hospital Management K4 and K5 in Dong Thap Medical College and
    • 28 students in Master of Hospital Management in Tay Nguyen University

2. Social Activities:

  • In April, the Communist Youth Union Branch HSPH successfully organized the HSPH sport tournaments to celebrate Youth Month and celebrate 14 years of the school establishment. This year, the tournament gathered 8 teams and divided into 2 groups, competed with each other for more than one month. The HSPH staff team was excellent and eventually won the competition and became this year’s champion.

  • 200 HSPH Students have participated in the award ceremony “Golden Brand in Food Industry of Vietnam” which was organized by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the hall of Ministry of Defence. This ceremony is aimed to improve the productive capacity and competitiveness to ensure safety for consumers and exporters.
  • In April, the Communist Youth Union Branch HSPH selected 23 elite members to participate in the Introduction of Communist Party class 2015. 
  • On April 21 and 24, 2015, United Nation Volunteers collaborated with HSPH together to organize training for youth employment skills development.  This activity aims to support and provide the basic knowledge to students about career orientation, CV, cover letter and interview skills before graduating.

3. Scientific Research Activities

  • Late April, the project “Several factors related to gender equality in reproductive health care of 8 south central cost of Vietnam” was commissioned and received an excellent review and feedback from the Council. The research teams are Assoc. Prof. Bui Thi Thu Ha – Dean of HSPH and Dr. Pham Van Tac – Head of Personnel Department, Ministry of Health.
  • HSPH starts accepting the grassroots level projects: “Review and Assess the management and deployment of health worker training according to post graduate systems in Vietnam.” (Project Manager: Nguyen Thanh Ha)
  • On April 15, 2015, the regular scientific meeting was held with two main subjects: “Several factors related to gender equality in reproductive health care in 8 provinces in South Central Coast of Vietnam” (Speaker: Doan Thi Thuy Duong – Faculty of Social Sciences) and “Electronic Systems in Universities as Business Process Management) (Speaker: Hoang Anh – Lecture of Hanoi University of Industry).
