Research of the Department of Social Work

The Department of Social Work focuses on the following main research directions: social work in hospitals; social work in mental health care and deviant behavior; social work in health care with some disadvantaged groups.

1. Demand and ability to provide social work services for cancer patients at Vietnam National Cancer Hospital in 2017

2. Quality of life and mental health among students of some universities in Hanoi, academic year 2018-2019 and some related factors

3. Assessment of the current status of the social work system in hospitals in Vietnam

4. Assessment of the need to develop material reference on social work in child protection at health facility

5. Literature review of some types of elderly health care services available in Vietnam in 2019

 6. Research on the current status of social work in health sector in Vietnam and some recommendations for the Development Plan of social work in the health sector for the period 2021-2030. 

7. Status of stress, anxiety and depression of some risk groups during the COVID-19 pandemic, coping behaviors and proposed mitigation models for mental health consequences. (2022). Ministry-level project in cooperation with National Psychiatric Hospital No.1
