MEETING WITH RETIRED OFFICIALS IN GIAP NGO NEW YEAR 2014
On the morning of 15th January 2014, in joyful atmosphere of the last day of the year, HSPH organized the meeting with retired officials on the occasion of Giap Ngo Lunar New Year 2014. The meeting is an annual meaningful activity organized by the university to express gratitude and deep appreciation to the generation of staff and teachers that making great contribution to the development of the university in the past years. At the same time, it was also an opportunity for official to interact, talk about their health, family, current work and review a commemorative work in the university. The representatives of the Managing Board and some departments, subjects attended the meeting.

At the meeting, on behalf of the university, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thi Thu Ha sent a wish of Happy New Year and happy health to all the university’s retired officials, the generation that has put the foundation for the development of the university today.
Report on public health activities in the past year at the university, Deputy Dean Phan Van Tien was glad to announce the gained achievements and innovations in teaching and in facilities to all retired officials. The Dean shared that “The year of 2013 marks many changes in the activities of the health industry in general and of HSPH in particular with many difficulties and challenges. For medical sector, there were moral issues. For HSPH, it was the change in the head of the university...” However, under the close guidance of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Training with the leadership of the Managing Board, HSPH have overcome all difficulties, continuing to promote the teaching and research, becoming an effective source of support for the strategy and policy on public health and public healthcare in Vietnam.

Also at this meeting, on behalf of the university’s Youth Union, Head of the Women's Work of the Labour Union MA Tran Thi Phuc Hang also sent the greetings of full of health, happiness, wellbeing, prosperity to retired staff and reported recent activities of Labor Unions.
On behalf of HSPH’s retired staff, Mr. Truong Hoang Thuc, Chief of the Retirement Board, former official of the Department of Organization and Staff, thanked for special attention of school leaders to retired staff and teacher. He insisted that in spite of retired, he still watches every step of the university development, happy with the success, the innovation of the university in the past time and hope to continue to contribute his strength for the university.
And believes that, with the wise leadership of the Party, Managing Board, HSPH will continue to develop further, firmly step on the path of innovation and integration in the new era. Health industry’s retired official will continue to strive to live well and be useful for the society, providing knowledge to contribute to health industry tasks, which is taking care of the people.
