Welcoming and exchanging cooperation opportunities with Woolcock Institute of Medical Research - University of Sydney and HUPH

On November 1, 2023, a meeting was held by HUPH with representatives of the University of Sydney and partners in many fields in Vietnam to share and discuss cooperation opportunities in the field of Health Security in Vietnam. The meeting was attended by Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski - Australian Ambassador to Vietnam and Dr. Angela Pratt – WHO Representative in Vietnam. The partners shared proposals for research in the field of health security that they hope to carry out shortly and discussed directions for cooperation to address key issues such as zoonotic diseases, food safety, antimicrobial resistance, etc. Recommendations were also made from the discussion to strengthen the One Health approach and promote policies to enhance health security in Vietnam.
