HUPH Youth Union launched the Spring of Love volunteer program in Phu Yen district, Son La province

On January 27 and 28, 2024, the HUPH Youth Union and accompanying units conducted the 2024 Spring Volunteer program at Suoi Vach village school site, Kim Bon commune, Phu Yen district, Son La province. This was a very special school site, with 100% H'Mong ethnic minority students, and extremely difficult living conditions. From the central school site, the volunteer group had to walk and climb a 4km dirt road to get to the school site. The program provided medical examinations, health counseling, and medicine dispensation for 126 preschool and primary school students at the Suoi Vach School site, part of Kim Bon Primary and Secondary Ethnic Boarding School. The program also handed over a youth project for renovating and beautifying classrooms (installing classroom ceilings, new classroom main doors and windows, painting walls, renovating toilets, installing three standard handwashing sinks); installing children's bookcases; and giving gifts to school-site attached teachers and students.
