Faculty of Environmental And Occupational Health

The Faculty of Environmental - Occupational Health is a department of the University of Public Health. The structure of the Faculty consists of 3 subjects: Environmental Health, Occupational health & safety, Nutrition and Foot Safety. 
The main tasks of the Faculty are to teach professional issues of the Faculty to target groups, design and implement scientific research as well as perform consulting tasks in the fields of Environmental Health, Health and occupational safety, nutrition, food safety, disaster prevention, ecology and environmental health as well as other research in the field of public health. The Faculty is also the unit that develops and is responsible for the main teaching of the Bachelor of Nutrition training program at the University of Public Health. The training program at the Bachelor of Nutrition has been implemented since the academic year 2017 - 2018. In 2018, the Faculty completed the development of the Master of Public Health training program oriented to Environmental Health. In 2019, the Faculty of Environmental Science and Technology completed the development of the Bachelor of Environmental Engineering program, which was approved by the Ministry of Education and Training and officially enrolled from the 2020-2021 school year. The faculty has two programs approved by the tropEd network: Health Emergency, Disaster Risk Management and One Health Approach to Emerging and Re-emerging Zoonotic Diseases. Along with the school's general development strategy, the Faculty focuses on improving the quality of teaching and research. The faculty and staff of the faculties of Faculty are continuously able to participate in training and research courses in the fields that the Faculty is in charge of.
